Frequently asked questions
What is AIgree?
AIgree is a free directory of clear summaries of Terms of Service and Privacy Policy documents for popular apps and online services. Each summary highlights the positive, neutral, and negative points of a service in a few bullets and assigns an overall user-friendliness rating — without the legalese.
How are the summaries generated?
AIgree fetches the official Terms of Service and Privacy Policy pages of each service daily, detects when the text has changed, and re-summarizes with a large language model. A second pass extracts the most user-relevant points. Every summary links back to the original source so you can verify in one click.
How often are summaries updated?
Every service is re-checked daily. When a source document changes, we regenerate the summary and write a short change note so you can see what shifted without re-reading a 15,000-word policy.
Can I trust the AI-generated ratings?
The summaries are a starting point, not legal advice. They can be incomplete or wrong — which is why every point of interest carries a short quote from the original document and every page links to the source. Read the original before making any decision that depends on it.
What if a summary is wrong?
Every service page has a 'Report a problem with this summary' expander below the points of interest. Tell us what's wrong, missing, or misleading; if you'd like a reply, leave your email — otherwise the report is anonymous. We review every report. Service owners with a formal right-of-reply request should see the Methodology page.
Is AIgree free?
Yes. Browsing the full catalog is free and has no tracking or advertising. An optional paid subscription called AIgree Pro adds email alerts when a service on your watchlist updates its Terms or Privacy Policy — starting with a 7-day free trial, then €4/month, cancel any time.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — every new AIgree Pro subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. You enter a card at sign-up so we can charge it on day 8 if you keep the subscription. Cancel any time before then in one click and you'll never be charged.
How do I cancel during the trial?
Sign in to your account, click 'Manage subscription' to open the Stripe billing portal, and click 'Cancel'. Cancellation during a trial takes effect immediately — you won't be charged.
What happens after the 7 days?
If you don't cancel, the subscription auto-renews at €4/month, charged to the card you provided. You can still cancel any time after that — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month.
How can I suggest a new service?
Search for it on the homepage. If we don't track it yet, you'll see a 'Suggest this service' button right there — give us the name, an optional URL, and any context, and we'll review it. Popular suggestions get added. You can also email [email protected].
